New Courthouse boiler

In May 2013 the Juneau County Board initially approved spending $31,000 from the Contingency Fund to make repairs to the Courthouse boiler.  But since then, the Building Committee determined that there were additional costs for other repairs and recommended the County should purchase a new boiler instead.  So Tuesday morning during its monthly meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved spending an additional $21,500 from the Contingency Fund to purchase a new boiler.  “While the Board voted to expend the additional funds, the boiler was being delivered to the back of the Courthouse,” said Board Chairman Alan Peterson.
