The photo shows Mauston Firefighter Victor Bolchen being congratulated by Jim Van Pee of the Castle Rock Golf Course after Bolchen scored a hole-in-one on the par three 17th Hole. He was golfing in the 8th annual Mauston Fire Department Golf outing on Sunday. Over 60-area golfers turned out to support the Fire Department outing. Bolchen was the only golfer to score a hole-in-one this year on the 120-yard hole. Van Pee says that they usually see one lucky golfer every two to three years get a hole-in-one.
