At 10:20 p.m. on Friday November 15, 2013 a crash occurred on I-94 ED at CTH EW in Monroe County near Warrens. Allen Mellichamp Senior and his 17-year-old passenger were traveling east on I-94 when Mellichamp lost control of his vehicle. The semi-truck went over a bridge onto County Road EW. The load of cement blocks the unit was hauling spilled onto CTH EW. Mellichamp was transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His passenger was had life threating injuries and was transported to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Assisting agencies included Warrens Police Department, Monroe County Highway Deaprtment, Tomah Area Ambulance, and Warrens Fire Department.
