Shoplifting Incident at the Dollar General in Adams

The Adams Police Department has responded to an incident of shoplifting. On December 10, the manager of Dollar General told the officer that the store had received an anonymous phone call saying that Angela Challoner of Friendship was going to steal from the store. Challoner entered and walked around the store. When she came to the front desk, the manager asked to see inside her purse. Inside it was $22 worth of stolen merchandise. Challoner admitted to the officer that she did steal from the store earlier that day as well. She was transferred to the Adams County Jail.
