The Wonewoc-Center School Board has approved a grade reorganization for its district: the 6-8 grade middle school concept. School Superintendent Dr. Steve Lozeau said, “It is the concept of sharing teachers in grades 6-8 rather than 6th grade being self-contained.” Previously, the district had 6th grade as part of its elementary school. Dr. Lozeau said the board acted on a recommendation from the administration. He says they will work out the final plans and assess the benefits of the configuration. Wonewoc-Center School Board meets every third Monday of the month at 7PM.
