A 45-year-old Adams man was seriously injured early Saturday morning when he crossed the center line and crashed head on onto a semi-tractor trailer. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office released a report that Wesley Grant was eastbound on Highway 21 west of Cree Avenue in the Town of Strongs Prairie when the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane, hitting the semi-tractor trailer driven by 33-year-old Thomas Roerkohl of Holmen. Grant was ejected from his vehicle and was first taken to a local hospital and then to a different facility by medical helicopter. He was listed in stable condition with serious injuries. Impaired driving is believed to be contributing factor in the crash; the investigation is on-going.
