Mauston Man Cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A Mauston man, 31-year-old Guy Hoogstra, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. On Sunday night, a Mauston Officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound on West State Street with no headlights on. After traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Department K-9 was called to the scene for a vehicle sniff. The K-9 indicated the presence of illegal substances. A pipe with the smell of burnt residue was located inside the vehicle. Hoogstra was cited with a bond amount of a little over $300.
