A New Lisbon teenager was injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident over the weekend. The deputy said Saturday afternoon about 5pm 17-year old Ariel Baumel was traveling north on 8th Avenue one mile north of 34th Street in the Town of Clearfield. Baumel crossed the center line. The 2001 Acura entered the ditch and struck a tree. The impact snapped the top half on the tree and it landed on the hood of the car. Baumel was medically transported. She was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and driving too fast for conditions. Her fines totaled $426.20.
