Crews from Wisconsin Central Ltd. plan to close Highway 21 in Necedah just east of Highway 80, beginning on Tuesday, September 9. The closure is necessary for crews to reconstruct the railroad crossing, according to a news release from John Mueller of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Highway Maintenance. During the closure, traffic will be detoured via Highways 80, 53, 82 and 13. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel. Work is scheduled for completion by Friday, September 12.
