SHERIFF JOHN SPEARS REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ONGOING ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR AND NARRATIVE EXCERPTS FROM THE WEEK ENDING September 22, 2014.
9/15 Robert Solverson, Viroqua, backed out of a private driveway in Town of Franklin and struck a legally parked vehicle driven by Ann Kieser, Massachusetts.
9/16 Michael Mugrage, Chaseburg, was southbound on County Road K, Town of Hamburg, when a car driven by Ashley Rogich, Chaseburg, pulled out in front of him. Mugrage swerved to miss Rogich and went into the ditch, striking a culvert. Rogich did not stop at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported.
9/17 Deborah Urbanek, Chaseburg, pulled out of a private driveway on Wolfe Lane, Town of Harmony. She did not see the school bus driven by David Strudthoff, Stoddard, and the two vehicles collided. No injuries were reported.
9/19 Mackenzie Buckles, DeSoto, lost control of her vehicle on Cedar Valley Road, Town of Bergen. She crossed Proksch Coulee Road and hit the ditch, resulting in a possible minor injury.
9/21 Michael Anderson, Cashton, was driving pickup truck on State Highway 27, Town of Christiana, and pulling a trailer loaded with rocks. The weight of the rocks caused him to be unable to slow down and he lost control of his vehicle. The trailer then jack-knifed into the truck and both units went into the ditch. No injuries were reported.

Mary Bakkum, Westby, on US Highway 14, Town of Coon;
Victor Hoff, Trempealeau, on US Highway 14, Town of Coon;
Kristine Blaha, Hillsboro, on State Highway 80, Town of Greenwood;
AmyLou Onshus, Westby, on County Road P, Town of Christiana;
Chelsey Myhre-Foster, Coon Valley, on State Highway 27, Town of Christiana.
