A charge of disorderly conduct has been referred to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office for an Adams woman. On Monday, October 27, Adams Police were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of North Main Street for a disturbance. When the officer arrived, he was told by an employee that 44-year-old Joy Jenkins attempted to take multiple items from the store and became disruptive. Jenkins refused to cooperate with police and was arrested for disorderly conduct for her actions in the store. She was transported to the Adams County Jail without incident. Police issued Jenkins a citation for retail theft.
