Two Hillsboro teenagers were injured in a rollover accident on Thursday morning in the Town of Hillsboro. The 17-year-old driver was operating a four-door pickup truck on County Road F when she lost control while coming out of a curve. The vehicle went off the roadway, struck and traveled down an embankment, and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. The driver sustained minor injuries and a 15-year-old female passenger, age 15, sustained non-life threatening injuries. Another passenger, 15-year old male, was not injured. Authorities say the driver and both occupants were wearing seatbelts. There was no airbag deployment. All occupants were transported to Gundersen Health System-St. Joseph’s in Hillsboro as a precaution. All were released from the hospital.
