A Wisconsin Rapids woman was arrested for possession of THC, with intent to sell. In the police report, on November 1st, an Adams officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on Highway 13 and made contact with the driver, 32-year-old April Jinsky. While he was talking to Jinsky, the officer could smell an odor of something that resembled marijuana and asked from a K9 unit for assistance. The K9 alerted to the presence of illegal drugs and a search of the vehicle revealed a bag of a green leafy substance weighing about 27.4 grams. The report stated that that amount of marijuana was indicative of the person selling the product. Jinsky stated she was coming from Wisconsin Dells and heading towards Wisconsin Rapids. She told the officer that the bag was hers. Jinsky was arrested and transported to the Adams County Jail. A formal charge of possession of THC- with intent has been referred to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
