It was a mild November night for the crowds of people lining Superior Avenue for the Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade on Friday, November 28th. Over seventy parade units took part in the lighted procession. This year’s parade theme was “Frozen in Time.” The Greater Tomah Area Chamber of Commerce said that Scott Construction took first place in the Commercial Division for its holiday train entry. Habitat for Humanity took first place in the Adult Organization Division and Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty float took first place in the Youth Organization Division. The Greater Tomah Area Chamber of Commerce coordinated the event that is held annually the day after Thanksgiving. This year was the 32nd anniversary of the parade.
