There was a swearing in ceremony Friday morning for the elected positions of Juneau County Sheriff and Juneau County Clerk of Courts. Juneau County Circuit Court Judge John Roemer sworn in Brent Oleson as Sheriff and Patty Schluter as the Clerk of Court. Schluter said afterwards that she was thankful for all the support she received during her campaign and that she couldn’t wait to start working. Schulter won the primary election in August against incumbent, Loretta Roberts, and ran unopposed in the November election. Judge Roemer said this was nothing new for Oleson as it will be Oleson’s sixth term as sheriff. The terms for both Oleson and Schluter starts on Monday, January 5 and will end December 31, 2018.
