A Spring Green man has been arrested for allegedly having intercourse with a 17-year-old teen, according to a release from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office. The criminal complaint alleges that 30-year-old Brandon C. Stephens had sexual contact with a 17-year-old girl in the Village of Plain during mid to late August 2014 and that the two met on Facebook. Through Facebook, Stephens was also able to obtain the girls cell phone number and arranged to meet the girl at the Plain Park through texts and Facebook messages. Stephens admitted to a Sauk County detective that he met the girl at the Plain Park after convincing the girl to sneak out of her house. Stephens also admitted to having sexual intercourse with the girl at the park. He has been charged with child enticement, exposing genitals, and sexual intercourse with a child. If convicted Stephens could face a total of $120,000 in fines, 29 years and 3 months imprisonment, or both.
