A Necedah woman is facing a 1st degree intentional homicide charge. 21-year-old Natalie Murphy is charged in the shooting death of 24-year-old Andrew Dammen, of Necedah. The shooting took place at a Necedah residence in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 12. According to Juneau County Sheriff Brent Oleson, Dammen was transported to Hess Memorial Hospital where he later pronounced dead from his injury. Online court records show a $250,000 cash bond was set for Murphy and she is not to possess any firearms. She is also to maintain absolute sobriety and have no contact with the victim’s family, except supervised contact with her daughter. Murphy could face a sentence of life in prison if convicted.
