A Nekoosa man has been charged in Adams County with felony possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. The deputy said in August 2012 he responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident at Akron and 7th Drive in the Town of Rome. Law enforcement searched the surrounding area and couldn’t find an ejected driver or anyone. The vehicle was uprighted and a search revealed a marijuana chopper with a small amount of marijuana, zig-zag rolling papers, a pot pipe, and a driver’s license belonging to 30-year old Shane Marti. In addition to the criminal charges, Marti was also cited for ‘failure to notify police of accident’. During a court hearing earlier this month, bail was set at a $1000 signature bond.
