The patrols are part of a comprehensive public- education/awareness campaign against drunk driving. The results showed that there were no drunk driving arrests. Other result show two speeding violations, four traffic sign or traffic light violations, one drug violation, five other violations and 32 warnings. The agencies say their goal during the Highly Visible Enforcement saturation patrols and for the rest of year is not to write more tickets but to convince drivers not to drive while impaired.
