There was a motorcycle accident on Cedar Valley Road in the Town of Bergen. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said 19-year-old Alicia Penchi of Stoddard was traveling west on Cedar Valley Road. She was unable to negotiate a curve and overturned her motorcycle in a field. Penchi had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Gunderson Health System. Spears said Penchi was wearing a helmet. The incident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
