Suspects in multiple burglaries were arrested after allegedly stealing a TV from a Town of Leon home Thursday afternoon. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the complainant called and said there were individuals that had broken into her residence and had taken a television. She also said the suspects just left in a gray minivan and provided a partial license plate on the vehicle. A short while later, the Cashton Police Department located the possible suspect vehicle in the Township of Portland. The Cashton Officer followed the vehicle until it pulled into a driveway off of Marigold Avenue. The vehicle and the two occupants were taken into custody without incident. The vehicle was reported stolen out of La Crosse County the previous day. There were also items located inside the vehicle belonging to this case, as well as other burglaries in the area. The vehicle was taken to Monroe County Impound as evidence. The two suspects have not been identified and are currently in custody, awaiting formal charges. This case still remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and surrounding jurisdictions.
