No One Injured in Vehicle Fire in Vernon County

A Cashton family was uninjured after their vehicle caught fire on Saturday on County Road S in the Town of Webster. According to Vernon County Sheriff John B. Spears, 29-year-old Timothy Malin along with passengers 28-year-old Megan Malin, and their two children were traveling north on County Road S. The vehicle started making noises from inside the engine compartment and smoke started to show. Timothy was able to get pulled over and all occupants exited the vehicle. The fire was extinguished by a passerby. The incident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department.
