Hospice Touch of Tomah Memorial Hospital is offering a six-week support group series to help people who have lost a friend or a loved one deal with grief. Hospice Spiritual Care and Bereavement Coordinator Debbie Warthan says sessions to be held in Tomah and Adams will look at dispelling misconceptions about grief, exploring feelings of loss, while understanding the needs of mourning.
The series will be held each Tuesday beginning September 15 through October 20 from 9 am to 11 am and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Hospice offices at 601 Straw Street in Tomah and from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Adams County Community Center in Adams.
There is no charge for the program but Warthan said participants should pre-register by calling Hospice Touch at 374-0250 in Tomah or 339-7500 in Adams by September 10.
