One person was seriously injured as a result of an ATV accident in Monroe County Wednesday evening. Sheriff Scott Perkins said the crash occurred on Dove Avenue at Highway 173 in the Town of Byron. Investigation revealed 68-year-old Dale Clay of rural Tomah was west bound on Dove Avenue when he lost control of his ATV and rolled it several times. He was transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
