The Wonewoc Village Board met Wednesday night and approved the purchase of a lift for the shallow end of the swimming pool. Village Administrator Lee Kucher said, “It is federally mandated that we have to install the pool lift for physically challenged individuals. It will cost the Village approximately $5000.” In other business, the Wonewoc Village Board approved purchasing a new digger truck up to $40,000. The Board appointed Roy, Geier Homar, and Roy as the Village Attorney and Dr. Lee Cornell as the Village Health Officer. The Bank of Wonewoc was designated as the Village public depository. The Board also approved a daily schedule to open the Baker’s Field restrooms at 8am seven days a week and close them at 8pm from May 1st, 2013 to the normal fall shutdown date. The Board also approved hiring Willy Doering at $375 for the 2013 season.
