A Mauston woman was arrested burglarizing a downtown Mauston pharmacy over the weekend. Police said early Sunday morning officers were dispatched to an interior alarm at Phillips Pharmacy. The rear door had been forced open and 36-year old Heidi Madeja was found crouched behind some plastic crates. Several large pharmacy pill bottles were found in her green hoodie sweatshirt pockets. The bottles contained oxycodone and other Schedule II narcotics. Madeja was arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail. She has been tentatively charged with burglary, counts of bail jumping, and possession of Schedule II narcotics.
