Farmers State Bank in Hillsboro celebrated 100-years of service to the Hillsboro area Friday. Executive Vice President Carol Jeffries was presented with a Wisconsin Bankers’ Association Certificate of Recognition by Michael Semmann. Bank clients were treated to a brat fry with Anniversary cake and root beer floats.
NOW 92one FM was also on hand to help celebrate the bank’s 100-year anniversary. Former Chief Executive Officer of Hillsboro State Bank, Brian Richardson, helped fill the NOW 92one FM large glass container with pennies and contribute to the Million Penny Challenge. All donations will benefit the American Cancer Society and the Juneau County 2013 Relay for Life.
