There was a semi-truck accident on the west side of Mauston Monday afternoon. A semi tractor-trailer that was hauling a barge was attempting to turn east on to Highway 12/16 from North Road when the trailer tipped over. The driver of the semi, 53-year old Robert Passow of Rothschild was uninjured. Highway 12/16 West of Mauston was closed down from Attewell Road to North Road due to road blockage for an hour or more. The incident remains under investigation.
