There was an incident of theft from a business on Highway 58 in the Germantown Township. The owner reported that sometime on December 9 and December 10, someone had come onto his property and went to the rear of the shop and took scrap metal from a pile set by the door. They took the about $500 worth of copper. The deputy observed that someone had parked at a neighboring business and there was a trail of small scraps that had fallen. The owner said video surveillance showed two male subjects, wearing hooded sweatshirts, taking the scrap metal. The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the incident.
