The Monroe County Economic Development, Commerce & Tourism Committee hosts its Annual Monroe County Economic Development on Thursday, February 26th at the Cranberry Country Lodge in Tomah. Over 200 attendees and 20 exhibitors are expected to attend the one day conference. Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch has been invited to speak to the group after lunch and Josh Tolley, nationally syndicated talk-show host, author, speaker and business strategist, will speak twice and spotlight his upcoming 10 month Business Camp in Monroe County. The Conference begins at 7:00am with a continental breakfast. The first panel discusses the Workforce in the Future, businesses making an impact in Monroe County will be spotlighted in the Did You Know segment, and the final panel focuses on Game Planning to Grow Your Business. Coordinator Steve Peterson feels this conference offer a tremendous amount of resources for businesses. People can still register until Feb. 23rd, and there is no registering at the door.
