A Wilton woman has been charged with for operating a motor vehicle without consent. According to Mauston Police, on May 11, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in Mauston where an argument had taken place between 23-year-old Ashley Winchel and the victim. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the vehicle’s owner, after he and Winchel got into an argument, Winchel got upset and took off in his truck. Winchel later brought the vehicle back to the residence in Mauston and was taken into custody without incident. Court records show that Winchel posted a one thousand dollar signature bond and she is to have no contact with the victim. Next court appearance scheduled for Winchel is June 11.
