A Reedsburg man was taken into custody on nine separate warrants from three counties Tuesday morning during a traffic stop. A Reedsburg officer was on patrol when she recognized 44-year-old Fred Luke of Reedsburg, operating on East Main Street at Myrtle Street. The officer stopped Luke’s vehicle and confirmed his wanted status. Luke was wanted by Clark County Sheriff’s Department for six counts of contempt and one count of Possession of marijuana; by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Department for traffic charges and the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department for possession of marijuana. Luke was also cited for operating with a revoked driver’s license. Luke was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Sauk County Jail on his warrants.
