The Necedah Village Board voted in favor of sharing costs towards reroofing cost in the Lion’s Park kitchen, restrooms, and one section of the open shelter. Village Administrator Roger Herried said they had received a letter from the Lion’s Club requesting a cost sharing. The Village Board approved to pay $2,686.67 toward the reroofing costs. Herried said the Board recognizes how much the Lion’s Club does for the community and the vote was unanimous.
Herried said the village will be replacing the deck boards on the school path pedestrian bridge. The boards have been ordered and the work is scheduled to be completed in the next month.
There was also an update on the construction of the Emergency Medical Service Facility. Herried said construction is going well with the concrete floor, the framing of the exterior walls and roof are done. The metal roof installation is almost complete and the contractor started the installation of the metal on the exterior walls of the building.
