A woman, believed to be from the Black River Falls area, was fatality injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident in southern Juneau County.  Sheriff Brent Oleson said, “the call reporting the accident was received at the sheriff’s office about 12:30pm Monday afternoon”, but Coroner Kathy Kohutko says,  ”the woman was deceased for several hours prior to the body being found.”  According to the deputy’s report, the woman was traveling north on County Road ‘N’ in Lyndon Station when she lost control of the 2000 Pontiac Montana van.  The vehicle went over a driveway and struck several pine trees.  The van then struck a large oak tree and then struck another oak tree sending the van into a spin landing on its roof.  The woman died from multiple internal injuries received during the crash.  Kohutko has withheld the name of the deceased pending positive identification.
